The time-honored tradition of County Fairs is to bring together the community to honor and celebrate those things that make us unique – whether it is an apple pie, a prize pumpkin…or a bottle of wine. In this spirit, the Santa Barbara County Fair again invited local vintners, winemakers and growers to present their wines to a panel of distinguished wine judges in the 5th annual Wine Competition.

The Santa Barbara County Fair Wine Competition will this year be held on June 11th at the Santa Maria Fairpark.

The Wine Competition is designed to celebrate the quality and diversity of varietals, wineries and vineyards that make Santa Barbara County a premier appellation for world-class wines. In this spirit, the Santa Barbara County Fair again invited local vintners, winemakers and growers to present their wines to a panel of distinguished wine judges in this year's Wine Competition.
